Habitat Survey & Species Listings

The Wildlife Trust and NBRC have carried out a Habitat Survey and a Bioblitz respectively.

This was a great success, with many species being recorded. We will try and repeat this exercise in 2019.

“Brilliant” day in the forest

On a beautiful sunny afternoon in July 2018, the pupils from Hunsbury Park Primary School spent a very enjoyable afternoon finding and recording insect and plant life to be found in the Country Park.

Tree Inspection Course

The training course, held in May 2018, was fully booked with 12 attendees.

Interpretation Board in Wootton Brook Park

May 2018 : The first of two interpretation boards purchased following funding from the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme is now in place by the lake in Wootton Brook Park.
