Remember our Super Heroes ?

Well, a couple of the Friends were lucky enough to be invited into Hunsbury Park Primary School last week to meet them and their teacher, Jacqueline Hughes, (aka Mrs Super Hero Teacher).

We were able to thank them for making and putting up the warning signs that you see in our Bluebell Wood and, of course, for helping to keep the paths in the Country Park free of fallen branches.

We gave them each a Hunsbury Park Super Hero sticker and were then given a tour of the school grounds so that they could show us the bird-boxes that they have put up (idverde and the Friends helped them make the boxes in January 2020) and the baby tree ‘whips’ that they have planted (we gave them about 200 last autumn).

The Friends salute you Super Heroes, and Mrs Super Hero Teacher, for all the good works you do in the school and the Park and for being aware of nature and wanting to learn about the flora and fauna around you and how to protect it for everyone to enjoy.
