Thanks to all of you who generously put something in our Donations box at the Drovers Return café over the last 2 weeks. We were hoping to have at least £75 to be in keeping with this year’s anniversary, but after counting up we have been able to give the Royal British Legion a donation of £83.

Whilst this has, by necessity, been donated in the name of Friends of West Hunsbury Parks, the bulk of the work was done by the ladies of Hunsbury Hill WI creating the poppies, so we are happy to give them most of the credit. Not forgetting, of course, our wonderful park users, who have been so generous.
