Thanks to all of you who dropped money into our donating buckets during the Heritage Open Days weekend. It meant we were able to give Robert Clarke a reasonable contribution towards his expenses for bringing William to our Country Park on 17th September.
After setting up in the Play Area Meadow to allow people to meet William (and feed him apples carrots and Polo mints !), Robert walked him through the park to the Wild Flower Meadow to once again do some chain harrowing. This is the third year we have asked William to chain harrow our wild flower meadow, to help spread the seeds and promote growth.
So thank you once again, William, and thank you Robert for taking time out of your busy summer schedule of Heavy Horse Shows around the country to help us out.
