WE DO NOT WANT TO BE TOLD TO KEEP DOGS ON A LEAD ALL THE TIME

We have been made aware of an unfortunate incident in our Country Park in which a dog which was not being properly controlled by its owner attacked and bit a cyclist riding through the Park. The incident has been reported to the police.

Dogs which are not under control are not acceptable in our Parks, which are popular with children and adults alike, as well as dog walkers.

To avoid being told to keep dogs on a lead at all times, PLEASE make sure you keep your dog(s) under close control at all times.

If you cannot keep your dog under control without a lead, then either keep it on a lead or do not come to our Parks.

And to anyone witnessing a dog attack, or a dog out of control, please photograph or video the dog and, if possible, the owner(s), and forward it to the police.
