HUNSBURY HILL ROCKS CHRISTMAS

The ladies of Hunsbury Hill W.I. have been painting large cobbles and smaller pebbles with festive pictures. But why, I hear you ask?

Well, they wanted to bring some cheer to children and their families at this seasonal time, so have collaborated with the Friends of West Hunsbury Parks to create a Hunsbury Hill Rocks Christmas!

So, if you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise!

All around Hunsbury Hill Country Park we’ve hidden more than 30 painted cobbles, rocks and pebbles for you to find. What better excuse do you need for some outdoor exercise and fun?

Grab your coats and wellies, head up to the park and go in search of some hidden gems! (Remembering of course to adhere to all current COVID regulations like social distancing and the Rule of Six.)

When you find one, upload a photo to Friends of West Hunsbury Parks FaceBook page . All the uploaded photos will go into a prize draw and one lucky Hunsbury Hill Rocks Christmas finder will win a prize!

Once you’ve found it and uploaded your photo, don’t forget to rehide the rock for somebody else to find too.

The painted rocks are all different sizes, so you’ll need to keep a sharp eye out to spot them all.

Happy hunting!
