Saturday 30th March ~ Tree Trail Guided Tour
Our Tree Trail is now live. There will be a guided tour of the trail on Saturday, 30th March, starting at 11 am at the Drovers Return café, but for those who cannot wait, maps and leaflets are available from the Drovers Return now. Don’t forget to install a QR Code reading app onto your mobile phone.
Litter Pick ~ will now be on Monday 8th April
Because Sunday 31st March is Mothering Sunday, and because we have the BloodAxe Vikings in the Hill Fort on Sunday 7th April, we have changed the date of our next Litter Pick to Monday 8th April.
If you would like to join us, we will be litter picking in the Country Park from 2 pm. Complimentary refreshments at the Drovers Return afterwards.

Friday 12th April ~ ‘Results’ Evening
We are planning a ‘Results’ evening in Parsons Meade Community Centre on Friday 12th April, probably starting at 7:30 pm (date and time to be confirmed).
We have asked the organisations who undertook surveys and reports for us during the last year to explain their results and answer your questions. There will be presentations from :
- the Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants (WTBCN) [Habitat Survey]
- Northamptonshire Biodiversity Records Centre (NBRC) [Bioblitz/Species Listings]
- Brampton Valley Training (BVT) [Tree Surveys]
Why not come along and find out what goes on in the Parks when no-one is around!

Another fund raising evening at Parsons Meade. 7 for 7:30 again. Tables of 6 max, please. Tickets £6 per person *. Light buffet included. Drinks by donation. See poster.

Monday 13th May ~ Practical Work Day / Painting Play Equipment
We have offered to help idverde paint the various equipment in the parks. We are going to start with the play equipment in Ladybridge Park on Monday 13th May, at 10 am, if the weather is suitable. All are welcome to join us.
We will supply the paint and brushes. You will need to wear suitable clothing!

Saturday 13th July ~ Alfie Bear’s Picnic will be held in the Country Park by the play equipment as usual, from 11 a.m. Although we are not involved in the organising of this event, we wholeheartedly support it and recommend it as a good day out with plenty to see and do. And it’s in a good cause as well.

August ~ Scavenger Hunt
Following last year’s successful Hunt, we hope to repeat this event in 2019.
August/September ~ Bats Walk
We hope to be able to have a repeat of the Bats Walk we held in 2018, if we can find the knowledgeable volunteers to organise it with us.

September ~ Heritage Open Days
These will be held across England from Friday 13th September to Sunday 22nd September in 2019, and we will be joining in at some point over the ten days.
